MID GLIDE GIRDER
The Gambler Mid Glide Girder fork is perfect for choppers with 38 degrees
or more head angle. Telescopic style forks, even fancy inverted ones,
are not designed for big rake bikes. The slider tubes tend to side load
on the fork tubes, and the spring rate tends to be off, yielding a stiff,
almost rigid ride. Girders, on the other hand, have an arc of travel
that moves more up and down as you get into the large head angles. The
new Gambler Innovation Girder forks combine this classic and functional
suspension design with state of the art technology in the shock valving.
Girders are sensitive to the correct valving and spring rate in the
forks. Our shock prevents the old time "bouncing girder" problem
and yields the best possible ride quality for your custom chopper. These
forks are available in lengths from stock wide glide length up to 22"
